Defining Workplaces
In a previous step, you already named and set up workplaces.
However, it has not yet been defined which tasks are important for the individual workplaces, or which requirements apply to them.
In other words, the job description is still missing.
This assignment can be made in the "Workplace - Individual tasks" menu item.
To do this, click the Workplace - Individual tasks menu item.
This table will initially be empty and not filled with data. To change this, you must first call up the Assign individual task - workplace function.
Assigning an individual task
After calling up the "Assign individual task - workplace" function, the following window opens:
In this window, you make the individual assignments of tasks to the respective workplaces.
On the left side of the window you see all individual tasks, and on the right side all workplaces.
Simply select the individual tasks you want to assign. You can also select several entries at once by holding down the Ctrl key and left-clicking all the desired individual tasks with the mouse.
To define which workplace these individual tasks should be assigned to, select the desired workplaces in the right half of the window.
Here too, you can select several workplaces.
Clicking the "Assign to workplace" button performs the assignment.
To assign an individual task to, for example, an entire department or the whole company, select the corresponding department or company in the right half of the window and click the "Assign to department" or "Assign to company" button.
Weighting
Before assigning an individual task, you can use the weighting to define how important the selected individual task should be considered for the respective workplace.
If you do not explicitly select a weighting for an individual task, the default of 100% is assumed.
By default, you can choose from six weighting levels, or define your own level systems. (See: Weightings)
The weighting has a direct effect on the employee assessment!
Individual tasks are multiplied by the defined weighting level, and the result is included in each employee's overall assessment.
Special and important tasks at the workplace thus receive a correspondingly higher value.
Examples:
5 points for an individual task with a weighting of 150% (i.e. a task with more weight) then contribute, for example, 7.5 points to the overall assessment. (5 points × 150% = 7.5 points)
5 points for an individual task with a weighting of 80% (i.e. a task with less weight) then contribute, for example, 4 points to the overall assessment. (5 points × 80% = 4 points)
