Menu Item "Q-GUIDE Basic Data"

The Q-GUIDE basic data gives you a quick overview of all available learning topics and instructions.

You can also manage the user data for Q-GUIDE here.

1.4.17.1. Q-GUIDE Basic Data

1 Ribbon

New Learning TopicOpens a wizard for adding a new learning topic or instruction:
  • Choose between a learning topic or an instruction
  • Define the title and
  • enter a description
Click OK to complete the action, and a new learning topic/instruction is added.

Note:

An empty learning topic or instruction is created. You must create and/or assign the content in Q-GUIDE.
Employee ► Assign Q-GUIDEThis dialog lets you add employees as Q-GUIDE users
Assign Learning TopicsOpens a wizard for assigning learning topics to employees:
  • Select a learning topic, and your selection is highlighted in blue. If you want to select several learning topics, hold down the CTRL key and mark further learning topics with the left mouse button. Each selected learning topic is displayed highlighted in blue.
  • Now follow the steps for the employee selection.
  • Set the processing date
  • Complete the assignment using the Assign Q-GUIDE Topics ► Employees button
  • If you want to make further assignments, start again from step 1.
Assign InstructionsOpens a wizard for assigning instructions to employees:
  • Select an instruction, and your selection is highlighted in blue. If you want to select several instructions, hold down the CTRL key and mark further instructions with the left mouse button. Each selected instruction is displayed highlighted in blue.
  • Now follow the steps for the employee selection.
  • Set the processing date
  • Complete the assignment using the Assign Q-GUIDE Topics ► Employees button
  • If you want to make further assignments, start again from step 1.

2 Basic Data

You can manage learning topics, instructions, and the users for Q-GUIDE via three (3) tabs.

"Learning Topics" Tab

Learning TopicThe title of the learning topic
CreatedThe creation date of the learning topic
VisibleWhether the learning topic can be seen by Q-GUIDE users
DraftWhether the learning topic is still in draft and not yet finished
ActiveWhether the learning topic can be used by Q-GUIDE users

"Instructions" Tab

Learning TopicThe title of the instruction
CreatedThe creation date of the instruction
VisibleWhether the instruction can be seen by Q-GUIDE users
DraftWhether the instruction is still in draft and not yet finished
ActiveWhether the instruction can be used by Q-GUIDE users

"Users" Tab

Q-GUIDE UsernameThe username for logging in to the Q-GUIDE module
Last NameThe last name of the Q-GUIDE user
First NameThe first name of the Q-GUIDE user
EmailThe email address of the Q-GUIDE user
ActiveIs the Q-GUIDE user still active? Yes (small checkmark)
Last Q-GUIDE LoginThe date of the last login of the Q-GUIDE user

Via the context menu you can delete individual users, activate or deactivate them, and reset the password.
