System Requirements

Q-Matrix™ is a Windows application that runs on Windows 7 and later.

However, we recommend using Windows 10 or later.

The Q-Matrix™ employee qualification software requires the following to be installed on the computer:

  • the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0
  • the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 Database (DB) feature.

Without the corresponding prerequisite installation, Q-Matrix™ and the Q-Matrix™ configuration program will not start.

You can download the .NET Framework online.

You also need Microsoft SQL Server 2014 or later (we recommend using version 2019 or later).

The free Express Edition can be used; please note its limitations.

You can also download the .NET DB features online; the following components must be installed:

  • SharedManagementObjects.msi
  • SQLSysClrTypes.msi
