Mapping the Company Structure
In the Company structure menu you will now find menu items and various tabs in the detail area.
We will first look only at the ones we need to map the company structure.
In Q-Matrix™, company areas are organized in a three-level hierarchy.

Areas: company areas / company Depending on how your company is structured, specify your highest-level unit here. |

Work areas: locations, departments, product lines Specify your departments here (administration, sales, etc.). |

Workplaces: individual employee workplaces The workplace (position/role) is the place in the company where an employee performs their work. In this tab, define the workplaces belonging to each area and work area. |
If you don't have areas/work areas, or you use different terminology, you can change the name of each tab in the program interface under preferences. (See Translations)
