The menu items of the Preferences menu bar are as follows:

| Translations | Term definitions and management of the user interface for all available Q-Matrix™ languages |
| Position Types | Maintenance of the different types of positions |
| Process Documents | Management of all process documents (e.g. work instructions) |
| Competency Levels | Management of the standard ratings for competencies |
