Setup

Q-Matrix™ has several setup files (e.g. a 64-bit version, an update version).

Please use the setup version that matches your Windows operating system.

After starting the setup file, a wizard guides you through the initial installation.

On the welcome screen, click "Next", then choose the installation path (default: C:\Q-Matrix\).

As mentioned, this path can be on a standalone computer or on the network.

Depending on the setup version, additional components may also be installed (e.g. .NET components).

If these components require elevated rights (e.g. administrator rights), you will be notified during installation.

If you install the components without these elevated rights, they will not run correctly.

Next, choose the name of the Start Menu folder in which the program shortcuts should appear.

Then decide whether a desktop icon should be created.

In the summary window, click "Install" to begin the installation.

Once installation has completed successfully, click "Finish" to close the setup.
